HM Prison Shrewsbury was a Category B/C men’s prison located in Shrewsbury Shropshire England. The prison was closed in March 2013.The former prison site is located on Howard Street adjacent to Shrewsbury railway station and is near to the site of the Dana Gaol (where a medieval prison once stood before the railway station was built).
