HM Prison Castington was a male juvenile’s prison and Young Offenders Institution located in the village of Acklington in Northumberland England. The prison was operated by Her Majesty’s Prison Service.Castington Prison was the most northerly Young Offenders Institution in England and was built on the site of the former RAF Acklington airfield.
