The Historical Right (Destra Storica) originally known as Right (Destra) was a Classical Liberal Conservative and nationalist political party in Italy.It was founded in 1849 under the government of Camillo Benso Count of Cavour; with the Historical Left it was one of the two biggest parties in Italy during the 19th and early 20th century.The Historical Right known as the heir of Cavour and the expression of the liberal bourgeoisie won the Italian general election of 1865.
