HIP 70849 b is an extrasolar planet which orbits the K-type main sequence star HIP 70849 located approximately 78 light years away in the constellation Lupus. This planet has more than five times the mass of Jupiter and takes more than 3000 days to orbit the star at a semimajor axis of more than 3.5 AU. However unlike most other known exoplanets its eccentricity is not known but it is typical that its inclination is not known.
