The Hillsborough Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually in mid March at Tampa Bay Downs in Tampa Florida.A Grade III event since 2004 it is open to fillies and mares three years of age and older. Raced on turf since 2004 it has been contested at a distance of 1⅛ miles (9 furlongs) prior to which it was run at 11/16 miles.
