Herman Claudius van Riemsdijk (born August 26 1948 Tiel Gelderland the Netherlands) is a Brazilian chess player. He was Brazilian Champion in 1970 1973 and 1988 and Pan American Champion in 1977. He was awarded the International Master title in 1978 and he is also an International Arbiter.
