Henry Steel (born 1989) is a South African chess player and currently the highest-rated player in the country according to the Chess South Africa as well as FIDE ratings. Steel represented SA at the 40th Chess Olympiad in Istanbul in 2012 and scored 5.5/9 (http://chess-results.com/tnr77681.aspx?art=9&snr=313&lan=1).He has won the South African Chess Championship twice; in 2007 and 2011 (with Watu Kobese).
