The Right Reverend Henry Champlin Lay (December 6 1823 – September 17 1885) was a bishop of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America.He was consecrated as missionary bishop of the Southwest with jurisdiction in Arkansas the Indian territory Arizona and New Mexico on October 23 1859. He was translated to the Episcopal Diocese of Easton as its first bishop beginning service on April 1 1869.
