The Rt Rev Henry Brougham Bousfield DD MA (27 March 1832 – 10 February 1902) was a Colonial Anglican priest and the inaugural Bishop of Pretoria 1878-1902.Bousfield was born on 27 March 1832 the son of William Cheek Bousfield a barrister. He was educated at Merchant Taylors’ and Caius. Ordained in 1856 his first post was as a Curate at All Saints Braishfield.
