Helena Ekholm (née Helena Jonsson) (born September 6 1984 in Helgum) is a former Swedish biathlete. She was born in Helgum Sollefteå Municipality. She is the reigning world champion in pursuit. She also won the Women’s Biathlon World Cup in the 2008-09 season. Jonsson debuted in 2005 in Östersund in the relay coming in 15th. In the following World Cup in Hochfilzen she participated in her first individual coming in 41st.
