Hefei Metro (Chinese: 合肥地铁) is a rapid transit system in Hefei currently under construction. First a 4.4 km test line will be the first section completed. By 2016 the test section will be reformed into the new 29 km long line 1 and opened to the public. Line one is a north-south line with 25 stations. Line 2 which is also under construction will open in 2017 and be the first east-west subway in Hefei.
