HD 33564 is a 5th magnitude binary star located approximately 68 light-years away in the constellation of Camelopardalis. It is an F-type main sequence indicating that the star is hotter and more massive than our Sun. The age of the star is only 3 Ga; despite of this the star is only 76% the solar abundance of iron. HD 33564 is a naked eye planetary host star.
