Harris W. Fawell (born March 25 1929) was a Republican member of the Illinois Senate from 1963 to 1977 and was a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1968 and 1988. In 1976 Harris W. Fawell ran unsuccessfully for the Illinois Supreme Court. In 1984 he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives representing Illinois’ 13th district where he served until his retirement in 1999.
