Harold R. Tyler Jr. (May 14 1922 – May 25 2005) was a United States federal judge.Born in Utica New York Tyler received an A.B. from Princeton University in 1943 and served as a Captain in the United States Army during World War II. He then received an LL.B. from Columbia Law School in 1949 entering private practice in New York City from 1949 to 1951. He was again a Captain in the United States Army from 1951 to 1952.
