Hans-Peter Kaul (born 25 July 1943) is a German judge international law scholar and former diplomat. Since 11 March 2003 he has served as Judge at the International Criminal Court in The Hague in its Pre-Trial Division. From 2004 to March 2009 he was the first President of the Pre-Trial Division. From 2009 to 2012 he served as Second Vice-President of the ICC.
