Han Jian (韩健 born July 6 1956 in Liaoning) was a Chinese badminton player in the early and mid 1980s when China first entered the International Badminton Federation (now Badminton World Federation). Along with Morten Frost (Denmark) Liem Swie King (Indonesia) Prakash Padukone (India) and his teammate Luan Jin he was one of the world’s leading players in that era known for his cool and steady play.
