Hameeduddin Husami Husammi Urdu: حميد الدين (July 23 1928 – March 12 2010) was an Indian Muslim religious scholar followed particularly in South Asia and also among the South Asian diaspora in the Middle East Western Europe and North America. Born in Hyderabad Deccan (today’s Hyderabad) in India the second son of Fazil Husami he is the founder of the Darul Uloom Hyderabad a branch of the Darul Uloom Deoband.
