György Cziffra Jr. (pronounced [ɟørɟ ˈtsifːra]; died 1981) was a Hungarian conductor. He nearly died as a child during imprisonment with his family when his father famous pianist Georges Cziffra who had served in the Hungarian during World War II was arrested for political reasons by communist authorities after World War II. György and his father worked together on several recordings and live performances.He was a pianist but he decided to turn to conducting.Cziffra Jr.
