After many guest appearances mixtapes and independent releases; he garnered some success with the release of his second major-label album The State vs. Radric Davis (2009). It debuted at number 10 on the US Billboard 200 chart and number one on the US rap chart; making it his first number one album on that chart. The album contains the hit single Wasted which features American rapper Plies.
