Gualtiero Piccinini (born 1970) is an Italian and American philosopher working primarily on the nature of mind and computation as well as on how to integrate psychology and neuroscience. He has also made significant contributions to the philosophy of language. He is Associate Professor and Chair in the Philosophy Department and the Center for Neurodynamics at the University of Missouri St. Louis USA and the Director of SLAPSA.
