The Glasgow and South Western Railway (G&SWR) ‘Austrian Goods’ is a class of 2-6-0 (mogul) steam locomotive designed by Peter Drummond. 11 were built in 1915 by the North British Locomotive Company at its Queens Park works. Originally built as class 403 they became class 33 in 1916 and then class 51 in 1919. The first 17824 was withdrawn in 1935 and the final one was 17829 in 1947 at which point it was the last Glasgow and South Western tender locomotive still in service. All were scrapped.
