Grosse Scheidegg (el. 1962 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland connecting Grindelwald and Meiringen. The pass lies between the Schwarzhorn and the Wetterhorn.The road over the pass is open only to bus traffic. However hiking is popular and this pass forms part of the cross-country Alpine Pass Route.In the Meiringen side the pass goes along the Reichenbach river known as the place of the last fight between Holmes and Moriarty.
