The METRO Green Line (formerly called the Central Corridor) is a light rail line under construction and in planning stages that will cover the 26.8-mile (43.1 km) distance between and connect the downtowns of Minneapolis and Saint Paul in Minnesota as well as St. Louis Park Hopkins Minnetonka and Eden Prairie in the Southwest.
