There is a community of about 4500 people of Greek descent in New Zealand.Greek New Zealanders (Greek: Ελληνοζηλανδοί) are New Zealand residents of either full or partial Greek descent. They have a heavy concentration in Wellington and to a lesser extent Christchurch and Auckland. Smaller communities of Greeks reside in Palmerston North Wanganui Dunedin Hamilton and Napier.
