Graeme MacKay is the Hamilton Spectator’s resident editorial cartoonist. Born in 1968 this self-proclaimed news geek grew up in Dundas Ontario. Except for a few art classes at a local School of Art Graeme’s skill in cartooning is largely self-taught. After studying politics and history at the University of Ottawa he travelled Europe with pen and sketchbook in hand. In 1997 he began his professional career at The Hamilton Spectator.
