Gokewell Priory was a Cistercian priory in Broughton Lincolnshire England. (53°34′52.098″N 0°34′51.245″W). It was founded by William de Alta Ripa and received other benefactions from Roger of St. Martin Adam Paynel and William de Romara.In 1440 there were eight nuns and was probably never much larger. Bishop Alnwick found the house very poor but in good order. It was dissolved before Michaelmas 1536.
