Godbole (Marathi: गोडबोले) (Pronunciation: gōde-bolæ) is a surname from Kokanastha Brahmins or Chitpavan Brahmins from Western Maharashtra (Western Coast of India) and also used by Rajapur Saraswat Brahmins. Godbole actually means ‘sweet tongued’ in Marathi.
