Gliese 317 c is a possible extrasolar planet approximately 50 light-years away in the constellation of Pyxis. The planet was announced in July 2007 to be orbiting the red dwarf star Gliese 317. The planet is a Jovian planet at least 1.6 times the mass of Jupiter. Gliese 317 c orbits 5.5 AU or further from its parent star with an orbital period of at least 7100 days. The eccentricity of the orbit is poorly constrained. It is the second known planet in order from Gliese 317.
