Gliese 208 is an orange dwarf star (K7 spectral class) with an apparent magnitude of 8.9. It is about 0.47 solar masses.Bobylev’s calculations from 2010 suggest that this star passed as close as 1.537 parsecs (5.0 light-years) from the Sun about 500000 years ago.
