Mar Giwargis Sliwa is the Assyrian Church of the East metropolitan of Iraq and Russia. Consecrated Metropolitan of Iraq in 1981 by Patriarch Mar Dinkha IV in Chicago. Currently administers to the faithful of Baghdad Basra Kirkuk and Mosul and their surroundings.
