George Washington Donaghey (July 1 1856 – December 15 1937) was the 22nd Governor of the U.S. state of Arkansas from 1909 to 1913.Donaghey was born in the Oakland Community in Union Parish in north Louisiana. From 1882 to 1883 he attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He was a school teacher carpenter and he studied both architecture and structural engineering.
