George Parker Scarburgh (February 11 1806 – December 21 1879) was a judge of the United States Court of Claims.Scarburgh read law to enter the Bar and began his legal career in private practice in Accomack County Virginia from 1837 to 1844. He was a judge of the Virginia Third Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery from 1844 to 1852 and a professor of law at the College of William & Mary from 1852 to 1855.
