George Haliburton (1616–1665) was a 17th-century Scottish minister. The son of Janet Ogilvie and her husband George Haliburton senior George was born in Glenisla Angus where his father was a minister. In 1636 he graduated from King’s College Aberdeen thereafter receiving his licence for the ministry from Meigle presbytery. He served as an army chaplain in 1540 and 1541 before being appointed minister of Menmuir in November 1642.
