George Dougherty (9 December 1913 – 21 November 1991) was an Australian rules footballer who played with four different clubs in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 1934 to 1945.A ruckman who also played up forward Dougherty started his career with Carlton Football Club but after two and a half seasons crossed to Geelong where he would play his best football.
