The sixth series of Geordie Shore a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne began airing on 9 July 2013. Filming began for this series in April 2013 and concluded in May. This is the only series to be filmed in Australia and seen the return of former cast member Jay Gardner who had originally appeared in the show from series 1–3. The series began with the most viewed episode ever attracting 1108000 but was then beaten by the second episode with 1133000 viewers in total.
