Geoffrey Martin Turner (born 16 March 1934) was the sixth Suffragan Bishop of Stockport.He was educated at Bideford Grammar School the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and Oak Hill Theological College. Ordained in 1963 he began his career with a curacy in Tonbridge and was then Vicar of St Peter Derby. Afterr this he was Rural Dean of Wirral until his elevation to the Episcopate in 1994.
