The General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates (GCAA Arabic: الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة‎) is the civil aviation authority of the United Arab Emirates. The authority has its headquarters in Abu Dhabi while it has a regional office in Dubai.As per Federal Cabinet Decree (Law 4) the GCAA was established in 1996.
