Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (翠星のガルガンティア Suisei no Garugantia) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Production I.G and directed by Kazuya Murata and aired between April and June 2013. A manga adaptation began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s Newtype Ace magazine in January 2013. The first part of a two-part OVA sequel will be screened in Fall 2014.
