Gael Briane Mackie (born December 16 1988 in Vancouver British Columbia) is a Canadian gymnast and Olympic athlete. Gael came to prominence on the Canadian gymnastics scene by winning the senior national championship at age 14. She currently resides in the city of Coquitlam.Mackie competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece in the Women’s Team and the Individual All Around. Gael is coached by Vladimir and Svetlana Lashin at Omega Gymnastics.
