Güyük (or Kuyuk; Mongolian Cyrillic: Гүюг хаан) (c. 1206–1248) was the third Great Khan of the Mongol Empire. As the eldest son of Ögedei Khan and a grandson of Genghis Khan he reigned from 1246 to 1248. He was given the temple name Ting-Tsung (Chinese: 元定宗; pinyin: Yuán Dìngzōng) later by Kublai Khan who founded the Yuan Dynasty.
