Furanochromone is a chemical compound which is a derivative of chromone (14-benzopyrone) and furan.Some chemical derivatives of furanochromone show strong interaction with DNA. Furanochromones can be produced in callus cultures of Ammi visnaga or in Pimpinella monoica.
