Freetown City Council is the municipal government of the city of Freetown[9][10] the capital of Sierra Leone. The Freetown City Council was established in 1893 and is one of the oldest municipal government in Africa[11]. The Freetown City Council meet at the Freetown City Hall on Wallace-Johnson Street in Freetown [12].The city of Freetown is politically divided into three regions: East End Freetown Central Freetown and the West End of Freetown which are subdivided into wards.
