Frederic Hale Parkhurst (November 5 1864 in Bangor Maine – January 31 1921 in Augusta Maine) is a former Maine Republican politician. Parkhurst ran for governor in 1920 and won the general election with 65% of the Maine citizens votes. He took office as Maine’s 52nd Governor on January 5 1921 collapsed on his first day of office and died shortly thereafter of pneumonia on January 31 1921.
