Fred West (born c. 1969) is a retired American expatriate professional basketball player who is best known for his college career at Texas Southern University between 1986–87 and 1989–90. He guided the Tigers to an overall record of 68 wins and 51 losses during that time. As a junior in 1988–89 Texas Southern were co-regular season Southwestern Athletic Conference champions but lost in the conference tournament.
