Fred Hutton is a journalist in St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador Canada and is news director at VOCM. He worked for NTV starting in 1990 and was the co-host of the NTV Evening Newshour from 1992 until 2013. In 2001 he was appointed assistant news director. On April 1 2013 VOCM News announced that Hutton would take over the role of news director at VOCM. He is a graduate of BCIT’s broadcast communications program.
