The Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) is a public nonprofit organization established under Chapter 161B of the Massachusetts General Laws to provide public transportation principally to the Franklin County and North Quabbin regions. It is based in Franklin County’s seat of Greenfield Massachusetts from where all its routes originate.
