Frédéric Protat (Bron 17 July 1966) is a retired French motorcycle racing driver.In 1991 he was the French superbike Champion in the 250 cc category.His friend with the same first name Frédéric Provost was helping him during his motorcycle lessons at the beginning.He began his career in the 1989 Grand Prix on the team of Aprilia in the 250 cc category at the 1989 French motorcycle Grand Prix with two participations during the season.
