Four Star Playhouse was a radio dramatic anthology series in the United States. The 30-minute program was broadcast on NBC beginning in July 1949 and was sustaining. It lasted only three months.Four Star Playhouse was one of at least 10 new programs developed for that summer by NBC’s [West] Coast programming department.
