The Kazakh Foreign Intelligence Service (Kazakh: Қазақстан Республикасының «Сырбар» сыртқы барлау қызметі Syrbar syrtky barlau kyzmeti or just Syrbar) is Kazakhstan’s primary external intelligence agency. The Syrbar is the successor of the Barlau Department in the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan since February 2009.
