Food for the Hungry (also known as FH) is an international relief and development organization with operations in more than 20 countries. Food for the Hungry was founded in 1971 by Dr. Larry Ward. Food for the Hungry‘s stated mission is to walk with leaders churches and families in overcoming all forms of human poverty by living in healthy relationship with God and His creation which was taken from Book of Psalms 146:7 He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry.
